Paul Stoecklein is a professional stand-up comedian whose clean humor and and hilarious perspective on life makes him stand out from the rest. Paul was born and raised against his will in Kansas, and he first stepped onto a comedy club stage in St. Louis at the age of 30. Within just one year, he was opening at clubs in the Midwest for some of the best headliners around, including Tommy Chong of Cheech & Chong. Within 6 years, he taped his first 1-hour comedy special for television (Bananas).

A finalist and winner at a number of comedy competitions, Paul has become a favorite at many clubs across the country, such as the Funny Bone, Catch a Rising Star, Comedy Store, Improv, and more. Paul has also performed on cruise ships and for numerous corporate events (e.g., Ford and Cox Communications), charity organizations, colleges, and fairs.

With over 15 years of publishing and writing experience, Paul has written multiple books and articles. He most recent book, Stand-Up Comedy Virgins, was published in December of 2002.

Married for over 13 years, Paul and his wife, Jodi, have raised two dogs, two birds, and a cat. So far, everything has survived, except the cat… and both birds… oh yeah, they also had a rabbit that lasted about a month. When Paul is not entertaining audiences, he can be seen making multiple trips to Home Depot, where he keeps buying the wrong part for whatever he's broken lately.
