Rich Maryn was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire to Indonesian immigrants. He escaped in 1985 and settled in San Diego where he began his comedy career in 2000. Rich has worked in sales for the last 15 years, and has sold everything from business software to environmental products.

Rich's unique brand of "observational humor" has made him one of the most popular comedians in Southern California. His topics include his insights into corporate culture and his confusion with everyday life. He is also one of the top comedy writers in Sounthern California.

He has performed at many comedy venues, including the Comedy Store and the Improv, as well as numerous charitable events.
